The Silver Eagle Coin Company is pleased to offer the following item. 1947 State Treasury Notes of the Soviet Union. Offered here is a hard-to-find set of three 1947 state treasury notes of the Soviet Union. The three note set includes 5, 3, 1 (Rouble) denominations housed in a nice leatherette flip folio. The notes are in pristine crisp uncirculated condition. The notes are very colorful and simply beautiful. The notes are so nice that I did not want to remove them from their plastic sleeves so the photo scans are taken through the plastic sleeves. I believe these would all grade GEM CU or higher if professionally graded. Any waviness in the photos is on the plastic and not on the notes themselves which are flat and crisp. These notes were legal tender in the USSR/CCCP between 1947 and 1961. This set is considerably rarer than the 100, 50, 2. 5, 10 four bank.
