Vintage Tea Cozy Teapot Doll. T HIS IS A DARLING TEA COZY!!! Perfect for a doll collector too! Please look at the pictures carefully! Tea cozy doll made in the Soviet Union probably in the 1930s. A cloth label is sewn near of the edge of her heavily padded quilted underskirt. On the label is written in script: Made in the Soviet Union. She has side glancing eyes and blonde hair. 1930s Lg Russian Tea Cozy Doll, Soviet Union label, thickly padded underskirt. Measured while lying at full length on a flat surface, she is 10 inches in length from the top of her head to the bottom edge of her skirt, about 28 inches across the widest part of the skirt at the bottom when spread out, and 4 inches across her shoulders. She has one arm that is folded in front of her. Her face is quite clean with only a trace of soiling. The print of her top skirt is faded in the front from exposure to light. The color on the skirt and scarf are bright in color. The colors are creamy white, red and blue on this doll cozy. Under her scarf is what looks to me as a blonde mohair braided blonde wig that is in good condition. The maker gave nice detailing to her hands which is also shown in a photo. She has no odors. I dont think this doll was ever used. I dont see any stains, just little age dust and cloth aging. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions.
