Helios 44-2 f2/58mm MMZ logo is one of the best lenses among all versions of’Helios-44-2′ with manual aperture setting. Helios 44-2 (MMZ logo) made by Belarus Optical Mechanical Association (Minsk, Belarus). Helios 44-2 is an interesting lens with an amazing picture and fixed focal length 58mm. The focusing of the lens is smooth. When focusing, the front and rear lenses do not rotate. The diaphragm has 8 blades. The iris control ring rotates smoothly, stopping at fixed values. The lens has a very specific bokeh. Like other lenses in the HELIOS-44 family, the 44-2 version swirls the background (the legendary helios “swirling bokeh”). A lens like this can be a great find for a photographer. The optical element of this lens creates stunning swirling bokeh. The lens has been professionally serviced and tested, we have done everything necessary for proper operation, cleaned, lubricated, adjusted (CLA). Optical element (glass) in excellent condition, clean and transparent. The blades of the diaphragm are clean and free of oil (this is very important for proper operation). The focus and aperture control ring rotates smoothly. There are no signs of oxidation on the body. The lens body is in very good condition, there are no signs of oxidation, this lens will be in excellent condition for many years. Diaphragm: f/2.0 – f/16.0. Number of aperture blades: 8 pieces. The weight: 220 g. Optical design: 6 elements in 4 groups. Front Filter Diameter: 52mm. MDF: 0.5 meter. Helios 44-2 f2/58mm can be used on many modern SLR and mirrorless cameras with an appropriate adapter. Most of the lenses in our store have been used before. The lenses may have small marks of cosmetic wear (natural traces of use), small marks from cleaning, but they are completely intact and function perfectly.
