Instead of buttons, there are Soviet “20 kopecks 1936″ coins. Most likely, the pants were handmade from materials that were readily available, such as linen fabric or hemp. Three similar pairs of trousers came into my possession – most likely from the same owner or his family (different sizes). On the second pair of trousers, there is a button marked 20 kopecks 1946.
