Reproduction pair of Marshal of the Soviet Union shoulder boards, 1943 pattern. Gold brocade with red edging, hand-embroidered Soviet state emblem and red star, mounted over red wool backing. Each board has one large silver marshal star at the bottom, as on wartime/postwar parade and overcoat uniforms of the highest Soviet rank. Excellent for display, collection, reenactment or to complete a Soviet marshal uniform. Replica / non-period / not a government issue. Item as shown in the photos. Pattern: M43 gold marshal boards (Feb 1943). Rank: Marshal of the Soviet Union (highest real Soviet rank). Front: gold brocade, red piping, machine/hand embroidery of USSR emblem.
