Instead of buttons, there are Soviet “20 kopecks 1936″ coins. Most likely, the pants were handmade from materials that were readily available, such as linen fabric or hemp. Three similar pairs of trousers came into my possession – most likely from the same owner or his family (different sizes). On the second pair of trousers, there is a button marked 20 kopecks 1946. An Old Rare Authentic 1940’s Soviet Epoch USSR Propaganda Tablecloth with 4 USSR Coat of Arms 6 Bands – Republics in the corners and 2 Orders of Victory on the sides, there are ornament of Communist Stars in the center part. Made in USSR of fabric looks like cotton or linen. Measures 54 1/4″ x 53″ (138 x 135 cm). Good overall condition, the are number od small holes, there are age stains – see photo for all details. Very nice work and extremely rare item. USSR coat of arms with only six bands, this particular design was in use only between 1923 and 1936. The serious collectors know that Soviet Union Coat of Arms had 6 Republics – Bands during a short time from creation in 1922 till Constitution of 1936.
