This set is rare with 12-pieces of a Matryoshka Russian nesting dolls, made in the Soviet Union during the era when it was known as the USSR. These handmade dolls are a representation of Russian culture and are sure to be a unique and sought-after collectible for those interested in Russian heritage and history. With their origins in the Russian Federation, these nesting dolls hold a special significance and would make a valuable addition to any collection of cultural artifacts. The largest is 9 in high and the smallest is about 1/4 in. You will see sets up to 10 maybe 11 dolls, but this set of 12 is very rare and in exceptional condition!

Conditions range from good to excellent. Most show some degree of age patina. All of the pins & catches on the ribbon mounts are present & intact.
