A large, very rare and beautiful, old, authentic (Soviet era USSR, KGB USSR) memorial plaque that was installed on the state border of the USSR. The plate is 100% original and has an engraved stamp on the reverse side in the shape of the number “6” and a sign shaped like an hourglass. Cast metal coat of arms of the USSR with 16 republic stripes (Coat of Arms of the Soviet Union) This plaque was taken from the USSR border crossing after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Dimensions 8 3/4 x 8 inches (22 x 20 cm). Weight 2 lb (0.93 kg). Made in the USSR immediately after World War II from nickel-plated brass.
