(highest real Soviet rank). Front: gold brocade, red piping, machine/hand embroidery of USSR emblem. Star: large silver wire 5-pointed marshal star fixed at lower end. Backing: red cloth / felt, closed type (parade/overcoat style). New reproduction, never issued. Use: uniform restoration, mannequin, militaria collection, movie/prop, gift to Soviet collector. This is not WWII original and not Russian MoD modern issue. Short history (optional, put at bottom): In 1943 the USSR reintroduced epaulettes; marshals received gold boards with red edging, USSR emblem and a single large silver star to mark their unique status. This style remained in use in the late Soviet period.
