This doll is one that was made by the Vsekohudozhnik artel for All-Union Association for Trade with Foreigners during the 1930s. These dolls represented the nationalities of the USSR Republics. Their faces were painted by professional artists and their costumes were chosen to appropriately reflect the national dress of the USSR peoples. Notice the fabric tag beneath her top that indicates it was made in “Soviet / Union”. This doll, as seen in her tag, was made in the Soviet Union and depicts a Kiazen Village girl. She is in absolutely amazing condition no stains, rips, tests or fading of her clothing. Even her wicker shoes are still perfect!
