USSR Soviet Union’P’ Prefix Export Vehicle Number License Plate 1981 Series. This is a genuine USSR (Soviet Union) number license plate, from the 1981 series, featuring the “P” prefix. Plates with this prefix were issued to vehicles that were permanently leaving the USSR, typically for export, repatriation, or official departure abroad. These plates were used for a short, transitional period only, often applied shortly before the vehicle exited the country. Because of this limited-use purpose, “P” prefix plates were produced in relatively small numbers and are much harder to find than standard civilian USSR plates. The plate is in overall good condition for its age but is used, so may show some minor scratches, marks, paint wear, or age-related patina. Please see all photos carefully to assess the condition, and if you require any additional or closer images, feel free to contact me. This is a used license plate intended for collection or decorative purposes only, and not for official use on a vehicle. Any questions, please ask.
