Vintage Soviet Wall Plaque “Tachanka” – Bakelite & Metal – USSR 1970s. This is a rare and collectible wall plaque from the Soviet Union, made in the 1970s. The plaque features a striking image of a Tachanka – a horse-drawn machine gun cart, made in metal and mounted on a richly painted Bakelite base. A magnificent example of historical Soviet art and a unique addition to any vintage or military collection. Material: Bakelite base with metal inlay. Design: Image of a Tachanka with three horses and riders with a machine gun. Dimensions: 23.5 cm x 17 cm (9.25 in x 6.7 in). Condition: Vintage condition with minor signs of wear (see photos).
